About The Position
To provide exceptional customer service and assist in salesfloor operations in order to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

- Age – 16 or older
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions.
- Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
- Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
- Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
- Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
- Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
- Handle Garden Centre duties (zone, water, cull plants) in the March-July time frame.
- Handle Toys duties at Christmas.
- Handle Bikes duties in Summer.
- Perform limited cash handling.
- Perform limited amounts of carry-in and out.
- Perform limited physical activity when handling bikes.
- Perform medium to heavy lifting in the Outdoor Soil Compound, potentially requiring team lifts.
