About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking Seasonal Overnight Associates to handle the unloading, processing, and stocking of merchandise. This role is physically active and fast-paced, requiring individuals to unpack, sort, stock, and recover merchandise efficiently. The store operates shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 PM to 6 AM, with rotating weekend and holiday work required (excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve). The pay rate is $13.25 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for overnight shifts, totaling $14.25. Paid breaks and lunch are provided.

Responsibilities

Unloading, processing, and stocking merchandise.
Unpacking, sorting, stocking, and recovering merchandise.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change.
Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
Maintaining merchandising philosophy and following established procedures.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
Initiating and participating in store recovery.
Maintaining organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned.
