About The Position

The Wealth Management Seasonal Associate is an entry level position that will contribute to Alpine Bank Wealth Management’s Investment, Operations, and Administrative functions. The chosen candidate will work closely with other Associates and Officers, gaining valuable insight into the Wealth Management business. This is a seasonal, non-benefitted position.

Requirements

  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Understanding and application of banking and wealth management compliance regulations.
  • Understanding how to identify and make recommendations to address problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) equivalency required.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required, either in process or complete.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Drivers’ License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of wealth management and an understanding of financials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes a working relationship with internal team members through effective communication.
  • Develops industry foundation using available training programs and tools.
  • Gains understanding of Alpine Bank Wealth Management products and services.
  • Provides support to internal staff, such as, but not limited to, applying academic techniques for investment analysis, preparing and reviewing reports/meeting materials, scheduling meetings, data entry, shadow meetings, etc.
  • Uses software applications to accomplish daily tasks with minimal errors.
  • Initiates communication with clients and prospects to gather information needed to resolve concerns.
  • Gains knowledge of the market, competition, profitability, and aligning department work with strategic goals.
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
