Seasonal Assembly - 1st Shift
About The Position
This is a seasonal assembly role on the 1st shift, located at the Indy North facility. The position involves accurately labeling, sorting, palletizing, and wrapping products for shipment, as well as assembling products according to specifications. The role requires adherence to all safety policies and involves working in a fast-paced environment. On-demand pay is available, allowing access to a portion of earned pay before payday. The seasonal nature of the role means it is expected to last through the facility's peak season, with potential for extension or earlier end depending on business needs. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs
- Proven success working in fast-paced, physically demanding seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
- Steel toes required
Responsibilities
- Accurately label, sort, palletize, and wrap product for shipment
- Safely load product to correct carrier for shipment
- Assemble products according to detailed specifications and drawings
- Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies, damage, or order issues
- Adherence to all safety policies
