About The Position
The Seamstress is responsible for sewing, assembling, altering, and repairing garments and textile products using industrial sewing machines. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow production specifications, and experience working with a variety of sewing equipment.
Requirements
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines (Single-needle, Double-needle, Serger, Walking foot machines)
- Ability to follow production specifications
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, patterns, and sewing instructions
- Ability to measure, cut, and prepare fabrics
- Basic machine adjustment skills
- Ability to meet daily production goals
- Knowledge of company safety and quality procedures
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines, including: Single-needle, Double-needle, Serger, Walking foot machines
- Assemble and repair garments and textile products according to production specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and sewing instructions
- Perform hemming, stitching, binding, and finishing operations
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics according to production requirements
- Replace thread, needles, and perform basic machine adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality workmanship
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
