About The Position

DeCicco & Sons is seeking a motivated and customer-service oriented Seafood Team Member. This role is responsible for all fresh/frozen seafood, preparing and packing out fresh and packaged product, and preparing pre-made meals. The ideal candidate will provide prompt and friendly customer service, work safely, and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to offer customers the highest quality seafood. This position is ideal for someone passionate about food, enjoys working with friendly people, and takes pride in their work.

Requirements

Must be fluent in English.
Great customer service skills.
Ability to work on a team.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet for entire shift

Responsibilities

Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating, and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties assigned.
Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
Receive, unload, and put away product delivery.
Stock, price, rotate and place product on seafood displays according to DeCicco & Sons standards.
Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
Water and ice down various products.
Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
Work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
