About The Position
Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. This is a Part Time Seafood Monger / Host position with weekly-hourly pay. The role involves being the face of the seafood department, assisting customers with selections, sharing recommendations, and making their experience memorable. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- A passion for customer service
- Strong communication skills
- A self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines
