About The Position

This role is offering 20-25 hours per week. Candidates MUST be available till 9pm and weekends to be considered. This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of seafood clerk to include the following: Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job., Follow company safety and sanitation procedures, Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, seafood cases, backroom, Prepare product for cases, At closing, pull product from cases for proper storage, Handle live seafood, Prepare party trays and selected seafood, Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers, Cook-fry and steam product for customers, Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management. Training will be provided at store level.

Requirements

18 yrs+ to apply
Must be available till 9pm and weekends
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (Internal Candidates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline) (Internal Candidates)
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance (Internal Candidates)
