About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the seafood department, preparing and displaying seafood products, and assisting customers with their needs. Requirements

• Regular, reliable attendance
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Manager approval based on performance (if invited for an interview)

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and seafood cases
• Prepare product for cases
• Pull product from cases for proper storage at closing
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook-fry and steam product for customers
• Other duties as assigned by store management
