About The Position

Schnucks is seeking a friendly and reliable Seafood Clerk for their Richmond Center location. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, preparing seafood products, and handling live seafood. The position offers 20-25 hours per week and requires availability between 10 am and 9 pm, Monday through Sunday. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Must be available between 10 am - 9 pm Monday - Sunday
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to work on feet for the entire shift (4-8 hours)
• Internal Candidates: Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
• Internal Candidates: Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
• Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Internal Candidates: Manager approval based on performance required for interview

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, seafood cases, and backroom
• Prepare product for cases
• At closing, pull product from cases for proper storage
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook-fry and steam product for customers
• Other duties as assigned by store management
