About The Position

This is a part-time position focusing on afternoons and evenings. The role involves providing excellent customer service, handling seafood product from delivery to display, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous service to customers according to company standards.
Unload deliveries of seafood, verify invoices and weights.
Clean, cut, and filet fish.
Weigh, wrap, code, and price fish, shrimp, etc.
Display product as directed to increase the McCaffrey’s “brand” with the highest standards of presentation.
Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department.
Set up and breakdown seafood cases, stock freezer, check and remove out-of-date items, and rotate products according to company standards.
Maintain all departmental equipment.
Communicate temperature failure of cases to the manager.
Maintain good housekeeping of work, display, and storage areas.
Observe all state health regulations and all safe food handling procedures.
Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention.
Perform other duties as directed.
