University of Richmond Career Services seeks a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a marketing communications student assistant. This role will involve working collaboratively to create effective story-driven content that builds engagement and promotes awareness of career services offerings, events and programs. Student employees assist with capturing and editing career development content, interviewing students, staff, and faculty, and brainstorming ideas, content, and strategy for social media. This job requires a keen awareness of engaging social media content, strict attention to detail, and a high level of accountability. Students can expect around 6-10 hours/week, with a flexible schedule depending on events on campus. Through this position students will develop core competencies that will better prepare them for careers after graduation. These skills include, but are not limited to: communication, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, & digital technology.
