About The Position

The Ascendancy Group’s Mission is to be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. As TAG Maintenance Support, you will support the life-cycle management and sustainment of SDV MK 8 and SWCS vehicles, including design reviews, maintenance activities, system modifications, and certification processes. In this role, you will assist with configuration management, project coordination, and ensure all technical and operational standards are met. You will be involved with conducting system and component testing, supporting the design of new or modified systems, and helping develop material specifications for procurement. Must have active Secret Clearance.

Requirements

  • Must have active Secret Clearance.
  • 10 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines or submersible platforms.
  • 10 years of experience with submarine mechanical and electrical systems or components.
  • 10 years of experience with supply chain or inventory management.
  • 10 years of experience with Naval quality assurance programs.
  • 4 years of experience with NAVSEA 9290 requirements.
  • Must be able to embark support watercraft and experimental vessels restricted waters.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent + 10 years related experience or BA/BS + 4 years related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in management and sustainment of the SDV MK 8 vehicles until demilitarization and manage the new SWCS vehicles once all are delivered.
  • The work will be associated with SDV and SWCS to include, design reviews, research and development, construction and fabrication, temporary modifications, maintenance support, quality maintenance processes (technical work documents, formal and controlled work packages), certifications and life cycle including modifications and upgrades to the SWCS thereafter.
  • Assist in providing configuration management and project coordination for SWCS and SDV life cycle sustainment, as a principal technician consultant and representative for MK8 SDV and SWCS.
  • Ensure all specification requirements are fulfilled by technical standards/specifications to maintain full operation capabilities and certification.
  • Test all vehicles by performing component and vehicle certifications, reliability, system integrity, operational and system integrated tests required to maintain the system’s integrity and certification requirements.
  • Assist in the layout and design of new systems and/or modifications of several extensive existing systems.
  • Assist in the development of specifications for all material procurement, both standard and special.
  • Assist in the preparation of information of SDV and SWCS technical manuals, training aids, drawings covering SWCS assigned systems.
  • Assist in the review of all test data and preparation of reports covering test results.
  • They must be capable of summarizing conclusions of test and program to verify and ensure compliance with operation and certification requirements.
  • Operate Government vehicles (vans, cars, pickup trucks), classes 1-5 forklifts, and category 3 cranes to carry out tasking as outlined in this PWS.
