About The Position

The SDS RX Area Manager oversees logistics operations within a designated region to meet customer needs efficiently and effectively. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to support business growth and customer satisfaction across a diverse client base. Responsibilities include overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution; managing customer relationships; leading and developing regional staff; monitoring performance metrics; implementing regional logistics strategies; ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies, and safety standards; and reporting regional performance and business opportunities to senior management. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in logistics management or a related role.
Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to manage a broad customer base and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and optimize operations.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to promote efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Build and maintain customer relationships, address customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Manage, train, and mentor regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Set and monitor regional KPIs, ensure operational targets are met, and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer requirements.
Ensure logistics operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Provide senior management with regular updates on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
