About The Position

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing logistics operations within a designated region, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to drive business growth and maintain customer satisfaction across a diverse client base.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or 4 years equivalent experience, required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related role, required
Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution practices, required
Excellent leadership and team management skills, required
Proven ability to manage a broad base of customers and maintain high satisfaction levels, required
Analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and optimize operations, required
Effective communication and negotiation skills, required
Proficiency in logistics software and systems, required

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transport, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad base of customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Manage, train, and mentor regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Set and monitor KPIs for the region, ensuring operational targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with company goals, taking into account market trends and customer requirements.
Ensure all logistics operations adhere to local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
