About The Position

Warp is seeking an SDR Manager to lead and scale its rapidly growing Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This role involves creating qualified pipeline through outbound efforts, coaching SDRs to become effective sellers, and developing the necessary hiring, ramp, and operating systems for a team projected to grow from 20 to over 50 individuals. The SDR team has a proven track record of hitting targets and promoting team members, and the new manager will build upon this success in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience directly managing a BDR or SDR team.
  • Previous experience as a BDR or SDR with a strong understanding of outbound prospecting.
  • Demonstrated track record of enabling a team to consistently achieve pipeline targets.
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding, and coaching sales representatives at various career stages.
  • Ability to differentiate between skill, activity, targeting, and process-related performance gaps.
  • Proficiency with modern outbound sales technology stack, including Outreach, Salesforce, Orum, and Clay.
  • Possession of a player-coach mentality.
  • High level of ownership and adaptability suitable for a fast-growing startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the SDR team's pipeline creation targets and coach SDRs to meet or exceed them.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new SDRs to support organizational growth.
  • Implement a rigorous coaching cadence including call reviews, one-on-ones, prospecting sessions, and performance plans.
  • Develop SDRs for future roles as Account Executives (AEs) and leaders, establishing clear expectations and promotion criteria.
  • Enhance outbound strategies, including account selection, messaging, cold calling, sequencing, and follow-up.
  • Utilize conversion data and call quality analysis to identify performance gaps and guide coaching efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Growth, Marketing, and RevOps teams on targeting, campaigns, lead routing, and pipeline quality.
  • Establish scalable and repeatable processes for onboarding, enablement, reporting, and management.
  • Actively participate in the day-to-day work by listening to calls, testing new approaches, and assisting the team with real-time problem-solving.
