  • Proven track record of designing and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, as well as API testing with tools like Postman.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering "visionary pragmatist" results, prioritizing testing work based on risk, business impact, and resource constraints that actually work.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading and working with remote teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own comprehensive testing approaches from concept to delivery, owning key quality deliverables that drive customer success — including test plans, automation frameworks, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support to integrate quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated test frameworks covering API, UI, integration, and regression testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality and sustainable software outcomes.
  • Lead a remote team of testers — delegating work, providing guidance and mentorship, and giving feedback as needed.
  • Report and track bugs with detailed reproduction steps, environment considerations, and severity assessments, performing root cause analysis for critical issues.
