About The Position

We are looking for a skilled SDET with 3–5 years of experience to design, develop, and execute automation solutions across web, API, and retail applications. You will play a key role in enhancing automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality delivery across Agile release cycles. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in automation, CI/CD integration, and a solid understanding of end-to-end retail workflows including POS and digital/eCommerce platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation or SDET roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in automation scripting using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or equivalent tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
  • Solid understanding of automation lifecycle, script debugging, and framework maintenance
  • Exposure to Gen AI applications in QA/testing workflows
  • Good understanding of Retail domain workflows, including POS (Point of Sale) systems OR Digital commerce platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based version control systems
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Retail ERP systems (Manhattan Associates OMS/WMS) – preferred
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured)
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain robust automation test scripts for web, API, and retail applications
  • Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks to improve scalability, stability, and coverage
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize test scripts for consistent execution across environments
  • Execute automation suites as part of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution
  • Support validation of end-to-end retail workflows, including POS and eCommerce platforms
  • Contribute to test strategy and automation improvements within the QA practice
  • Leverage or experiment with Gen AI tools to enhance test creation, debugging, and productivity
  • Participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies (planning, estimation, execution, reporting)
  • Ensure proper test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases
