About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium-based test automation to support Retail and Merchandising applications. The ideal candidate will possess a quality-first mindset, strong automation skills, and experience working in Agile delivery environments. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases, support store validation activities, and drive test automation across multiple technology platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Functional Testing, Test Automation, and Agile software delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing Selenium-based automation frameworks (mandatory).
  • Proven experience supporting Retail and Merchandising applications, including store systems and business process validation.
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms, including Web, Mobile, Desktop, API, and Cloud-based applications.
  • Strong programming and automation skills using Java and/or Python, with experience in API testing and automation tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or UFT.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and collaborating effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and other automation tools across Web, Mobile, Desktop, and Cloud applications.
  • Execute automation and validation activities within Agile sprint cycles, ensuring continuous quality and timely delivery.
  • Validate end-to-end Retail and Merchandising business processes, including store operations, inventory, promotions, and customer-facing workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to define test strategies, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect identification, tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution verification.
  • Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives by integrating automated testing into build and deployment pipelines while providing accurate test status reporting to stakeholders.
