About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Automation Lead / Senior SDET to drive end-to-end automation strategy and delivery for complex enterprise applications. This is a hands-on, client-facing role based in one of the locations mentioned above, requiring a strong technologist who can lead modernization efforts while actively contributing to engineering excellence. The ideal candidate is a builder and innovator who adopts AI-driven automation, Playwright-based testing, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable intelligent, scalable, and context-aware testing systems.

Requirements

  • 3–10 years of experience in QA/Test Automation with strong hands-on engineering expertise.
  • Proven experience building automation frameworks using Playwright (preferred) or similar modern tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and automation (Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent).
  • Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar context-driven/AI-integrated testing approaches.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled testing (LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted scripting/debugging).

Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute the automation strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities and release cycles.
  • Design and implement scalable, modular automation frameworks across UI, API, and data layers.
  • Lead hands-on test automation using Playwright, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and high coverage.
  • Apply Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable context-aware, AI-assisted testing and improved traceability.
  • Develop and integrate API automation suites using Postman into regression packs and enterprise pipelines.
  • Embed automation within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) with clear quality gates and release metrics.
  • Partner with stakeholders and offshore teams to deliver measurable quality outcomes, including defect analysis and continuous improvement.
