SDET Intern

Copart•Dallas, TX

About The Position

An SDET Intern joins an engineering team to learn quality engineering through hands-on work. This coding role, supported by mentorship, involves writing automation code for real services and interfaces, learning how business rules translate into test coverage, and following a release from development into User Acceptance Testing. It is not a manual testing role. The intern contributes to automated testing for RESTful APIs, web interfaces, and web services; helps prepare test data and environments for UAT; and supports business stakeholders during UAT sessions. The role also includes exploring AI-assisted testing techniques and participating in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team quality discussions.
