SDET Automation Lead
About The Position
SDET Automation Lead oversees test automation for multiple global development teams developing solutions using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This includes hands-on leadership driving that automation of features done by both in-house SDET and outside vendors. The SDET Automation Lead will lead innovative digital solutions to production. This role will collaborate with the R&D leadership team, developers, product owners, manual testers, and architecture in ensuring thorough, efficient, and quality testing. This person will also coordinate project-level automation testing and strategy for multiple R&D projects both new and in-flight.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher with 5+ years working in software testing.
- Hands-on DevOps Test Automation on tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestComplete.
- BDD Tools like Cucumber.
- Mobile Test Automation tools/solutions such as Appium
- Experience and knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Proven track record of delivering successful automation solutions in a predictable and timely manner
- Experience working with multiple teams and ARTs in parallel
- Ability to understand technical requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading automation testing efforts is preferred
- Working in Pet Health and/or a regulated environment is a plus

Responsibilities
- Oversee automation testing efforts for 6+ teams which includes internal teams and vendors
- Strategizes on shifting from manual to automated testing
- Ensure proactive communications to leadership and functions within and outside of IT
- Create metrics and dashboards utilizing Azure DevOps to provide insights into automation activities
- Coach teams in ideal automation testing where testing starts with the developer and the tester is part of the development
- Drive the constant goal of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
- Ensure thorough automation testing on risks and dependencies within the projects and programs
