Requirements

  • ISTQB Foundation certification
  • SDLC, STLC, and testing concepts (regression testing, performance testing, bug life cycle, boundary value analysis, positive vs. negative testing, AB testing)
  • Web and mobile automation (WebDriver, Browser Drivers, Supported Languages, Locators, Implicit and Explicit Waits, Page Object Model, Headless Browsers, Selenium Grid, Appium Server, JSON wire protocol, Desired Capabilities, Appium Inspector)
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Test documentation and bug logging/tracking using tools such as TestLink, TestRail, Jira, or Bugzilla
  • Programming/scripting languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Cucumber
  • Code management systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI
  • Basic understanding of performance testing (JMeter)
  • Basic understanding of API testing (Postman)
  • Agile software development methodologies
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools such as JIRA

Responsibilities

  • Utilize ISTQB Foundation certification with SDLC, STLC, and testing concepts, such as regression testing, performance testing, bug life cycle, boundary value analysis, positive vs. negative testing, and AB testing.
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of web and mobile automation encompassing WebDriver, Browser Drivers, Supported Languages, Locators, Implicit and Explicit Waits, Page Object Model, Headless Browsers, Selenium Grid, Appium Server, JSON wire protocol, Desired Capabilities, and Appium Inspector.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automating functionalities, including browser drivers, locators, implicit and explicit waits, page object model, headless browsers, and Selenium Grid.
  • Create, execute, and document manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and optimized test execution strategies to meet quality goals and project deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with test documentation and bug logging/tracking using tools such as TestLink, TestRail, Jira, or Bugzilla.
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Cucumber and code management systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Basic understanding of performance testing (JMeter), and API testing (Postman) for comprehensive testing coverage across different platforms and technologies.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex technical issues, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, and exhibit a commitment to continuous learning by staying updated with the latest features, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies, including working in Agile teams for iterative development with proficiency in utilizing project management tools such as JIRA for issue tracking, and team collaboration.
