About The Position

As Principal Director - Personal Insurance Pricing, you will play a key role in the evolution and execution of pricing and segmentation strategies. You will operate in a transformative context, with a matrix governance and large-scale projects, supporting companies and distribution networks, including direct and omnichannel. In collaboration with partner sectors, you will contribute to strengthening product competitiveness and sound portfolio management, aiming for profitability and growth. You will lead the sector by ensuring alignment of priorities, team mobilization, talent development, and functional evolution. You will also contribute to maintaining a clear governance framework conducive to consistent decision-making, information flow, and cross-functional collaboration. Your technical expertise in actuarial science and pricing will enable you to challenge analyses, inform decisions, and advance practices with a modern and forward-thinking perspective on actuarial methods. Your experience, strategic judgment, implementation skills, collaboration, and human leadership will be essential levers for your success.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate university degree in actuarial science.
  • Hold a professional actuarial designation, such as FICA or FCAS.
  • At least 7 years of experience in actuarial science, particularly in non-life insurance.
  • A minimum of five years of management experience.
  • Advanced mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, due to the nature of the tasks and interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, and suppliers, and to meet the company's growth objectives.

  • Exercise leadership in defining and implementing strategies for your business sector.
  • Mobilize teams, develop talent, foster accountability, and support succession planning in a transformation context. Create a positive, transparent work environment conducive to collaboration, continuous improvement, and courageous conversations.
  • Provide strategic leadership in pricing expertise regarding rates, segmentation, and modeling to guide business decisions and support competitiveness, sound portfolio management, retention, growth, and profitability in personal insurance.
  • Guide analyses, recommendations, and strategic decisions related to pricing, considering products in collaboration with the Principal Director of Products, market evolution, trends, modeling approaches, and profitable growth objectives.
  • Contribute to projects for evolving pricing systems, tools, and solutions, as well as large-scale sector projects and initiatives, by supporting the implementation of structuring decisions related to pricing.
  • Define and maintain a clear governance framework in a matrix operating context to ensure alignment of priorities, information flow, consistency of decisions, and collaboration between partner sectors.
  • Support companies and distribution networks, including direct and omnichannel, in collaboration with partner sectors, to ensure alignment of pricing priorities with business objectives.
  • Ensure executive management of the sector, priorities, budgets, and resources in line with business objectives.
