About The Position

YogaSix Newtown is seeking dedicated, passionate teachers to teach amazing Y6 Sculpt & Y6 Core classes and are looking to elevate their teaching and join an inspiring community that is changing lives. We’re looking for warm, engaging instructors who thrive in a community-focused environment and are committed to leading classes that are empowering, energizing, and—most importantly—FUN!

Requirements

Fitness Accreditation/Certified Trainer (with experience teaching group fitness classes) or RYT200hr Yoga Teacher certification
Current CPR Certification
An outgoing personality, a genuine ability to connect personally with all students and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional class experience
A willingness to grow, welcome feedback, and remain a lifelong student.
Regular availability to teach at least two classes per week and willingness and ability to substitute for other teachers to ensure consistent coverage of all classes.

Responsibilities

Provide top notch class instruction that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the YogaSix class format guidelines
Create a personal connection with each student
Set up classroom appropriately: Props, Mat Spacing, Music, Lighting
Build community and connection
Arrive to studio a minimum of 15-20 minutes prior to class start time
Clean studio space after every class and follow up with students for 15-20 minutes post class.
