About The Position

Supports and facilitates generally one to two Scrum Teams in various functions by fostering Agile values and practices. Ensures team adherence to Agile principles. Provides coaching to the Scrum Team(s) on how to execute the Scrum framework. Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk. Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders. Serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team. Protects the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities. Partners with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team execution.
  • Ensures work is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to sprint goals and broader fraud technology objectives.
  • Removes impediments and escalates risks or blockers to maintain team velocity and predictable delivery.
  • Coaches teams on Agile principles, practices, and mindset to improve collaboration, predictability, and velocity of the team.
  • Drives continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable improvements across sprints.
  • Encourages a culture of transparency, inspect-and-adapt, and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Tracks and reports on key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint progress, burn-down) to support data-driven decision making.
  • Promotes a strong quality mindset by ensuring acceptance criteria are clear and work meets defined standards of completion.
  • Supports adherence to governance, controls, and regulatory expectations within fraud engineering initiatives.
  • Ensures effective use of Agile tools and processes to support backlog management, sprint execution, and reporting.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce delivery friction.
  • Partners with leadership to evolve Agile practices and maturity across teams and programs.
