About The Position

As a Scrum Master, you'll be the catalyst for success, empowering teams to embrace agile methodologies, break down complex projects, collaborate effectively, deliver exceptional value, and become agile champions. This role involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement using Scrum and Kanban practices, facilitating clear planning, efficient execution, and transparent delivery of key initiatives. You will coach and guide teams to work cohesively, fostering open communication and shared ownership, while removing roadblocks, celebrating wins, and ensuring continuous learning and growth within the team. Additionally, you will promote agile principles and practices across the organization, influencing cultural change for the better.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Professional Scrum Master I (PSM-I) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • At least 1 year of Agile development experience with at least 6 months in a formal Scrum Master role
  • Experience working in an Agile work management tool such as Azure DevOps Boards (preferred), Jira, or Rally
  • Experience designing and leading trainings and workshops
  • Exceptional facilitation skills: Master the art of guiding productive discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering team dynamics.
  • Agile mindset: Embrace transparency, continuous improvement, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Serve up new, IT focused Agile solution teams using advanced concepts and tools.
  • Perform the role of Scrum Master as defined in the 2020 Scrum GuideTM.
  • Collaborate with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Participate in and contribute to the Scrum Master Community of Practice.
  • Establish and communicate team-level metrics.
  • Support operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
