About The Position

The Scrum Master is responsible for guiding 1-2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates. This role involves facilitating all Scrum meetings, promoting Agile principles, collaborating with Product Owners, communicating project status, tracking team performance, removing impediments, and ensuring transparency of progress. The Scrum Master must also ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols.

Requirements

Must have some experience in IT, Fullstack, Software, or systems engineering and working with engineering teams
Scrum master certification required
Must have experience using Jira
Must have active secret clearance
Meeting Facilitation: 1 - 2 Years
Oral and Written Communication Skills: 4 - 6 Years
Problem Solving Capability: 4 - 6 Years
Agile Software Development: 4 - 6 Years
JIRA: 2 - 4 Years
Engineering Design Principles: 4 - 6 Years

Responsibilities

Guiding 1-2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates
Facilitate all Scrum Meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts
Identify and remove impediments to team progress
Ensure transparency of progress through radiators like burndown charts, dashboards, etc
Ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols
