About The Position

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery across high-performing, cross-functional teams and ensuring the consistent application of Scrum principles and practices. This role is central to supporting the delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and modernization initiatives by fostering collaboration, promoting transparency, and driving continuous improvement within the team environment. Requirements

  • 8 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for Agile teams delivering technology or data platforms.
  • 8 years of experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • 8 years of proven ability to identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
  • 8 years of experience coaching teams on self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • 8 years of experience using Agile lifecycle management tools (such as Jira).
  • 8 years of ability to support reporting on velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery progress.
  • 8 years of experience working in enterprise or large-scale IT initiatives
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years of experience working on state or government technology projects.
  • Scrum Master certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Enable cross-functional teams to achieve high performance through continuous improvement and adherence to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Act as a servant leader, coaching team members and stakeholders to ensure optimal self-organization, accountability, and delivery.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery, supporting a seamless workflow.
  • Promote collaboration and transparency among product owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure Scrum principles and best practices are consistently applied across teams.
  • Support reporting on velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery progress using Agile lifecycle management tools.
  • Align team objectives and delivery with program and organizational goals.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and adaptation.
  • Other duties as assigned .
