Scrum Master
About The Position
Trissential is hiring a Scrum Master to play a pivotal role in delivering data services that support both customer and distribution teams across the enterprise. This is a traditional Scrum Master role focused on servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, and Agile excellence, rather than hands-on technical execution. The role involves supporting a critical Advanced Meter Data team and participating in an evolving Agile journey with a new Homeroom/Classroom Scrum Master model. The environment is defined yet flexible, with two-week sprints and clear ceremonies, offering opportunities for continuous improvement and defining excellence for Scrum Masters.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master within Agile development environments
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and guide teams in Agile and Scrum practices
- Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills across matrixed organizations
- Experience supporting Agile teams within large, complex enterprises
- Hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align)
- Ability to manage dependencies and organizational blockers with a collaborative mindset
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent – certification type flexible)
- Demonstrated experience and Agile leadership capability
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting data, analytics, or platform teams
- Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM
- Experience contributing to enterprise-level Agile transformations
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Serve as a servant leader to a team of 12–14 members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and blockers, escalating when necessary while maintaining strong cross-team relationships
- Ensure strong Agile hygiene and accurate documentation within Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices and Scrum principles
- Support enterprise Agile initiatives by acting as a shared service across technology teams
- Promote a culture of trust, transparency, and adaptability without command-and-control behaviors
