About The Position

The Interactive Graphics, Media & Entertainment (IME) division of Autodesk is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to collaborate with talented engineering, QA, user experience design, and content design teams. This role focuses on creating new workflows for content and creation within the media and entertainment sector. Requirements

  • 8 + years in a similar role working on large-scale software development projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) for quantitative/qualitative decision making
  • Ability to manage expectations and execute with distributed teams
  • Ability to coach/advocate at multiple levels (i.e., team members, product owners, management, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of both the theory and application of Agile practices

Nice To Haves

  • CSP, PSM, PMP, Prosci, SAFe accreditations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools, and best practices (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD, etc.)
  • Familiarity with VFX in Film & TV or AAA Games

Responsibilities

  • Coach several teams in the use of agile techniques to match team capacity to commitments
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to assess the scope and define priorities to deliver features successfully
  • Facilitate meetings (e.g., daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives), adapting processes as required to maximize each team’s success
  • Guide product backlog refinement and management to deliver consistent business value
  • Foster a safe, cooperative environment, emphasizing open discussion, and problem-solving
  • Ensure meeting artifacts are generated/distributed to communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Facilitates or participates in improvement initiatives to bridge gaps between the Scrum teams and the broader organization
  • Learn about the projects you are working on to foster discussions and challenge assumptions
