The work: The Scrum Master will lead agile ceremonies for the development team and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to drive solutions and delivery. Introduce agile best practices and assess team performance for continuous improvement in agile methodology. Engage in cross-team collaboration to ensure quality delivery. You will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, New Ways of Working (NWOW) and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
  • Hands-on experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira or similar) to manage sprints, track defects, user stories, maintain the backlog, and monitor delivery progress in a high‑performing, collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products or projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, and ability to adapt them to specific organizational needs and challenge.
  • Active certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master).
  • US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for candidates with automated testing experience and the ability to lead or influence test engineering practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with artificial intelligence tools preferred including frontier models from Claude, OpenAI, Google and code assistants like Roo Code, Aider and Continue to support agile work at scale.
  • Experience working in a large-scale, enterprise-level environment.
  • Experience working with the Federal Government or military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist team in preparation for events, including PI Planning and System Demos.
  • Communicate with management and stakeholders by providing status of sprint progress and request awareness and/or support if sprint scope or dependencies are at risk.
  • Coach and support cross-functional teams.
  • Work in fast-paced and collaborative environment with focus on cloud migration helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver by learning and then supporting effective Agile practices.
  • Support creation and maintenance of user stories in the Agile Lifecycle Management tool.
  • Learn teams' dev/test delivery process and identify challenges with efficiency, communication, and planning.
