Job Description Position Summary: Accountable for implementing the scrum framework, coaching others to understand it better, and enabling the team to continuously improve. As the Scrum Master you will guide and ensure their team understands the scrum framework and its values and practices. You will be a servant leader who helps the team to be self-sufficient and achieve its goals via effective Agile and Lean practices. You would manage 3 delivery teams that are dispersed globally (NA, LATAM, APAC). You will report to the Technical Leader – Configure to Quote

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Nice To Haves

  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge in the areas of application / software engineering
  • Prior experience in Scrum Master role with demonstrated capabilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile principles, values, techniques, and scrum theory
  • IT Applications / business system background
  • On-hand experience with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence
  • Understanding of ITIL framework
  • Experience with providing workshops and presentations
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Understand, apply and coach Agile and Lean principles within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Establish the scrum process and practices
  • Educate the team about the scrum values
  • Help the team resolve conflicts when possible
  • Protect the scrum team from unnecessary distractions or interference (scope creep, external pressure)
  • Facilitate team meetings like the daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
  • Guide the team in self-management, cross-functionality and Agile practices
  • Help find effective techniques for Product Backlog management and ensure it is ready for the next sprint.
  • Nurture team health to foster high performance
  • Help the delivery teams to coordinate dependencies and communicate status
  • Collaborate with other agile teams to identify, promote, and adopt best practices
  • Help team to remove any execution roadblocks
  • Manage Large projects within IT application space
