About The Position

Welcome to Love's: The Scrum Master will provide servant leadership and play a key role in the definition, implementation, and ongoing improvement of cross-functional scrum teams. This role will serve as the facilitator for multiple scrum teams to accelerate capability delivery, efficiency, and productivity. These teams partner closely with other technology teams and business subject matter experts to deliver reporting and analytics solutions. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading continual transformation as well as promoting accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization. They will serve as the point person responsible for understanding the larger development picture of each sprint, bridging the needs of project management, business stakeholders, product development and support. As a Level III Scrum Master, this individual independently performs the full range of Scrum Master responsibilities across multiple concurrent teams with minimal oversight, applies in-depth Agile expertise to analyze and resolve problems of diverse scope, and coaches and mentors other Scrum Masters and team members. We are seeking a Scrum Master to support the Enterprise Data & Analytics teams, which are cross-functional teams working together to produce shared business outcomes. The Scrum Master will support the full product lifecycle, including research, development, validation, maintenance, and support of both domain-specific and enterprise data products. These teams may support multiple product lines simultaneously. The Scrum Master will work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and consensus on overall priorities and resource utilization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business, Technology or relevant work experience.
5-8 years of experience in an Agile Scrum team, with demonstrated experience independently performing the full range of Scrum Master responsibilities; role as Scrum Master or Product Owner preferred.
Agile methodology experience including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
Familiarity with software development tools (Azure DevOps/VSTS, Jira, BrowserStack, etc.) and MS Office Suite. Portfolio management tools are a plus.
Experience working with distributed and hybrid teams
Experience running various types of agile teams, such as tiger teams and pods
Demonstrated experience using AI tools to drive efficiency in Scrum Master tasks, such as drafting user stories and backlog items, summarizing ceremonies, and generating sprint and team performance metrics for leadership.
Experience identifying and piloting AI-driven process improvements across scrum teams to reduce manual effort and increase delivery velocity.
Ability to coach and upskill other Scrum Masters and team members on practical applications of AI to streamline day-to-day Agile practices.
Experienced professional who applies theory and in-depth understanding to practice; independently performs the full range of Scrum Master responsibilities; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems and issues of diverse scope and determines solutions

Nice To Haves

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications are a plus but not required.
Portfolio management tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

Guides and coaches development teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
Independently lead multiple development team(s) as a mentor, coach, and facilitator to develop self-organizing, high-performing teams, applying broad job knowledge with minimal oversight. Work to remove impediments and keep the team moving forward without interruption or distraction.
Facilitate scrum ceremonies – Sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint demo, retrospectives, and feature planning.
Effective leader of Kanban frameworks
Work with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to support release planning, leadership visibility, appropriate prioritization, and to maintain a healthy backlog prepared for execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives.
Clearly communicate organizational impediments to leadership. Contribute to weekly status updates outside of scrum ceremonies.
Maintain relevant metrics to help the team understand their progress, capacity, and work distribution.
Bring ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation and so on to help the team become a high-performance team. Champion continuous improvement activities to increase productivity
Allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
Maintain a portfolio of projects, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
As needed, assist in release planning and deployment activities including production smoke testing, training documentation, change management and post-deployment support.
Apply baseline understanding of performing data imports/exports, standard API’s and other common application development concepts to technical and functional discussions.
Contribute to visual design and creative process while accounting for functional design and technical capabilities.
Proven track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to earn their trust, confidence, and respect.
Leverage AI to accelerate manual tasks, such as creating user stories, preparing for ceremonies, and providing metrics to leadership
Actively coach and mentor other Scrum Masters and less experienced team members, sharing lessons learned and best practices across the organization.
Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to business leaders that support problem solving, planning, and consensus-building across teams.
