About The Position

Temenos is looking for a Graduate Scrum Master to facilitate agile development processes, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative environment within our Application Development teams. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to apply their technical and organizational skills in a dynamic software development setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Application Development principles.
  • Demonstrated Computer Skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Experience with Assessment and Categorizing and Classifying I methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Data Collection and Analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of Document and Model User Requirements practices.
  • Understanding of Document Management and File Management System concepts.
  • Exposure to Graphical User Interface (GUI) design principles.
  • Basic understanding of Information Retrieval and Metadata Management.
  • Awareness of IT Testing best practices.
  • Familiarity with Program Installation and Versioning control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong desire to learn and grow within an agile framework.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
  • Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them.
  • Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
  • Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Document and Model User Requirements, ensuring clear communication and understanding within the development team.
  • Assist with IT Testing activities, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize Data Collection and Analysis to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support Database Reporting and Data Management initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain various documentation and file management systems.
  • Oversee Program Installation and Versioning control for software releases.
  • Work with Graphical User Interface (GUI) concepts and contribute to their development.
  • Engage in Information Retrieval and Metadata Management tasks.
