About The Position

Supports the day to day activities of an Agile Crew by facilitating Scrum events (stand ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensuring they are productive, time boxed, and aligned to Agile@PNC practices. Partners with the Product Owner and Crew members to promote backlog readiness, clear acceptance criteria, and shared understanding of sprint goals, value delivery, and Definition of Done. Assists in tracking and managing work against the sprint backlog and delivery milestones, escalating risks, dependencies, and impediments that may impact team commitments. Coaches Crew members on foundational Agile and Scrum principles, supporting a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and psychological safety. Collaborates with peer Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads, and stakeholders to align on delivery expectations, governance requirements, and Agile metrics. Supports adoption of PNC approved tools, templates, and methodologies, ensuring compliance with enterprise change, risk, and delivery standards.   • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

  • Assists with coaching a Scrum Team on how to execute the Scrum framework.
  • Experiments with processes and tools that encourage continuous improvement to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk.
  • Works in partnership with more senior scrum masters to protect the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities.
  • Partners with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value.
