About The Position
This is a 13-week contract opportunity for a Scrub Tech in Hamilton, NY. The role offers a collaborative surgical environment with a balanced schedule and diverse case mix. The facility has 4 Operating Room suites and 1 procedure room, with a case mix primarily focused on orthopedics, along with exposure to general surgery, GYN, and spine procedures.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification – required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced OR environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, instruments, and sterile field
- Support surgeons during cases (STs typically rotate every other case, though some back-to-back assignments may occur)
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
