The Script Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing dubbing scripts to ensure accuracy, consistency, continuity, formatting, timing, and overall readiness for recording. This role involves identifying and resolving script discrepancies, continuity issues, missing information, and other potential production problems before and during recording sessions. The Script Supervisor will support recording sessions by maintaining accurate scripts, tracking changes, and collaborating closely with dubbing directors, recording engineers, production staff, adapters, and other localization team members to address script-related questions and issues. Key responsibilities include maintaining continuity of terminology, character names, pronunciations, and story elements, ensuring approved script revisions are accurately documented and communicated, and tracking script status and workflow milestones to meet production schedules. The role also involves coordinating script-related deliverables across multiple projects, reviewing source materials and translations, maintaining organized records of script versions, and escalating significant concerns to leadership. The Script Supervisor will help troubleshoot script and workflow issues during recording, support pickups and retakes, and adhere to client specifications, workflows, security requirements, and quality standards. Contributions to the continuous improvement of script preparation, QC, documentation, and recording support are also expected, along with performing other related duties as assigned.
