Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and tracking script materials throughout the Development or Production process.
  • Serving as a liaison to the production team and writing team, organizing information for casting and recording.
  • Acting as the communication hub for a television series script status and distribution.
  • Providing overall series support, which may include calendaring, expense reports, and credits.
  • Ensuring that the Executive Producer, Story Editor, Writers, and Directors are all working from the most current version of the script.
  • Taking notes during writer's meetings, story note meetings, record meetings, and animatic reviews, and potentially putting them into a conformed master script.
  • Ensuring that executive notes are received in a timely manner, accurately transcribed, and saved in the appropriate format.
  • Formatting scripts according to studio standards, and maintaining and distributing all script drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
  • Proofreading, filing, cataloging, and distributing all premises, outlines, script drafts, and revisions.
  • Maintaining writing script status reports and AirTable.
  • Generating physical scripts for recording sessions (record drafts), as well as pickup and ADR sheets.
  • Updating and organizing files and databases of all premises, outlines, and drafts of each script, including submissions.
  • Ensuring continuity between scripts and final recorded dialogue.
  • Conforming scripts to edited dialogue and action of all animatics, locked picture, and final mixed picture.
  • Archiving script versions and maintaining accurate records throughout production.
  • Tracking pickup and ADR lines.
  • Working in conjunction with the Line Producer, Casting, Music, and Record team to ensure all pertinent materials are prepared for Recording sessions.
  • Bringing script delays that may affect Music and Audio record delays to the attention of the Producer and Line Producer.
  • Posting record memos or music lyrics to show production servers.
  • Conforming music lyrics from the locked animatic and sending them for Legal/Standards & Practices approval.
  • Partnering with the Story Editor on Logline documentation, ensuring it is updated and distributed.
  • Maintaining the production calendar.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings for Executive Producers, Producer, and Line Producer.
  • Completing travel authorizations and coordinating travel for production crew both domestic and international.
  • Ordering supplies for crew/production through SAP E-Source and approved vendors.
  • Increasing crew morale by suggesting and organizing team-building activities (crew potlucks, birthday celebrations, etc.).
  • Acting as the point person for facilities, contacting operations for crew needs.
  • Filing & Photocopying as needed.
  • Distribution of materials.
  • Compiling, ensuring accuracy, and distributing show credits.
  • Completing expense reports as per DTVA procedures.
