About The Position

The Screen Value Stream (SVS) position is responsible for performing various roles within the screen printing process, including Screen Stretching, Coating, Burnroom Operator, Sprayout, and Washroom. SVS team members are crucial in the initial steps of the screen printing process, preparing screens with artwork. The role requires flexibility to float between these positions as needed and adherence to safety practices and OSHA standards. Team members are expected to identify and resolve safety issues, work collaboratively, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic computer experience required (excel, word, tablet); able to locate and print files
Must be able to read and problem solve
Organization, with a solid understanding of efficient processes
Ability to work well in a team and think independently
Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write
Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities, reasoning

Nice To Haves

High school education desirable, but not required
Previous production experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Cutting & assembling mesh to be stretched on screens
Running a pneumatic impact gun over a long period of time
Verifying quality of screens and framing, finding and fixing flaws
Coating of screens
Operating Direct to Screen Machine to 'burn' image into screen
Spraying out screens to prepare them for screen printing
Washing out screens, including pulling tape and fixing screens if broken
Rotating and working in different areas as needed
Following safety practices
Identifying problems and working to resolve safety issues in accordance with OSHA standards
Working actively with others to get the job done
Other duties as assigned
