About The Position

The Screen Scoring Tutors help students understand and reinforce learning outcomes in the Film and GAIMs curricula. Screen Scoring tutors help their peers comprehend integrations between Cubase, Pro Tools, Unity, Wwise, FMOD, notation software, and virtual instruments. This position also works closely with department leadership and faculty to assist with file and resource organization, game and film research, and template updating for the curricula across both majors.

Requirements

• Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
• Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program (or pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester if only working in the summer).
• Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
• Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
• A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (students in their first semester are exempt until completion of their first semester).
• Federal Work Study students may apply.
• In good disciplinary standing.
• Must be located in the U.S.
• Strong skill set in either Film or GAIMs music technology usages and procedures and/or orchestration, synthesis and mockup techniques.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teaching skills.
