About The Position
The Screen Print Reclaim Operator is responsible for reclaiming, cleaning, and preparing screen print screens for reuse. This role ensures screens are properly stripped of ink and emulsion, maintained to quality standards, and ready for production, supporting efficient and consistent screen printing operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic understanding of chemicals and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Nice To Haves
- Prior screen printing or reclaim experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Remove ink, emulsion, and haze from used screens using reclaim chemicals and equipment
- Wash, degrease, and dry screens to prepare them for re-coating
- Inspect screens for damage, pinholes, or mesh issues and report or repair as needed
- Maintain reclaim area cleanliness and organization
- Properly handle, store, and dispose of chemicals according to safety and environmental guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE
- Assist with screen coating, drying, and staging when required
- Meet production schedules and turnaround times for screen availability
- Perform routine maintenance on reclaim equipment
- Other duties as required
