Remote Scoop Operator and Truck Driver - Westwood
About The Position
Redpath is seeking a skilled Scoop Operator and Truck Driver for the Eastwood Development project at the IAMGOLD Westwood Mine. This role involves operating LHD equipment for mucking underground ore/waste material and loading haulage trucks, as well as hauling and dumping broken ore and waste from development or production headings with a 30T truck. The position offers flexible rotation schedules (7 days on, 7 days off or 5-4 4-5) with 11.5 or 12-hour shifts. Requirements
- FMTM (Formation Modulaire du Québec) or equivalent (Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core)
- Valid driver's license
- General Explosives Permit
- 2+ years' experience operating a remote scoop tram in an underground environment
- 2+ years' experience as an underground Equipment Operator or miner
Responsibilities
