This role will build and manage a global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value-added support and account management from receiving new orders, working with vendors, and all parties involved to ensure procurement SCM and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Prefer 1-3 years Global procurement experience or/and Data analysis experience
BA\BS in Statistics or/and Computer Science preferred
Must be proficient with MS Office suite, particularly with Excel
SQL/Python for data cleaning is required (Power BI is preferred)
Experience work in Procurement or/and Logistic and or supply chain industry
Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English (Listening, speaking, writing & reading).
Overnight travel as business needs require, including Mexico
Ability to work extended shifts, evenings and weekends as business needs require
Team work spirit

All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is a plus
Communication skill in Japanese language Preferred

Responsibilities

Build and manage global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value added support & account management from receiving new orders, working with vendors & all parties involved to ensure procurement SCM & customer satisfaction.
Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with suppliers and customers and cooperating with business associates (warehouse or logistics companies).
Analyze customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize efficiency.
Maintain log sheet and monitor logistics cost and business process cost referring to business rule.
Proactively communicate and coordinate with warehouses, logistics companies, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operational processes.
Leverage analytical skills to develop detailed reports and perform data analysis to support cross-functional teams.
Collect and analyze logistics data to enhance operational efficiency.
Gather and interpret data in order to solve a procurement problem. (Python Programming language) Especially needs to discuss with Panasonic Business Division.
Maintain the computer system master data (customer, vendor & product) including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.
Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers.
Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight & warehouse companies.
