Requirements

  • Prefer 3-5 years or more global procurement experience or Data management experience
  • BA\BS in International Business / Computer Science preferred
  • Must be proficient with MS Office suite, particularly with Excel
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or any coding skills preferred
  • Passion to create data driven solution of global procurement and supply chain

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English Listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI or Tableau skill is a plus but is not required
  • Communication skill in Japanese, Japanese are considered a plus for evaluation but are not required.

Responsibilities

  • To build and manage global procurement model for Panasonic factories with value added support & account management from receiving new orders, working with vendors & all parties involved to ensure procurement SCM & customer satisfaction.
  • Assess customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize efficiency
  • Monitor inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with suppliers and customers and cooperating with business associate warehouse, logistics companies
  • Monitor logistics cost and business process cost referring to business rule.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight & warehouse companies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, develop and expand the global procurement scheme through purchase and supply of raw materials, components and devices.
  • Communicate with business associates customers, suppliers, logistics service providers smoothly with problem solving mind.
  • Maintain the computer system master data (customer, vendor & product) including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.
  • Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers
  • SQL database maintenance for Supply chain operation support with supervisor
  • Collect or Analyze logistics data and information to improve operation with supervisor
