About The Position

This role focuses on optimizing container circulation through accurate calculation and validation of container numbers in both internal and external circulation. The specialist will inform relevant parties (BU, customer, or supplier) about these findings. Key responsibilities include ensuring the supply of empty containers by planning customer and supplier empties, considering requirements, inventory, and circulation numbers. The role also involves ordering containers and cardboard boxes on time to support Production and customer deliveries, identifying and implementing process optimization measures for continuous improvement in coordination with the Manager, and analyzing deviations in Container Management processes to initiate corrective actions. Additionally, the specialist will check and compare internal container accounts with customer and supplier documents, ensure compliance with CU specifications for standardized packaging, physically check warehouse inventory against SAP quantities, and verify container posting transactions in SAP, including maintaining master data and parameters. The role also entails posting and checking invoices (rental, transportation, cleaning), managing and reconciling accounts, and comparing customer portals with internal inventory tracking data to enhance transparency and reduce container costs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Experience in calculating and validating container numbers.
Ability to optimize and configure container circulation.
Skills in planning customer and supplier empties.
Proficiency in ordering containers and cardboard boxes.
Experience in identifying and implementing process optimization measures.
Ability to analyze deviations and initiate corrective actions.
Experience in checking and comparing internal and external container accounts.
Knowledge of CU specifications for standardized packaging.
Experience with physical inventory checks and comparison with SAP quantities.
Proficiency in checking container posting transactions in SAP.
Experience in maintaining and checking master data and SAP parameters.
Skills in posting and checking invoices (rental, transportation, cleaning).
Experience in managing and reconciling accounts.
Ability to compare customer portals with internal inventory tracking data.
Familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities

Calculating and validating the number of containers in internal and external circulation to optimize and configure container circulation.
Informing the BU, customer, or supplier accordingly.
Ensuring the supply of empties at the site by planning customer and supplier empties, taking into account requirements, inventory, and numbers in internal/external circulation.
Ordering containers/cardboard boxes correctly and on time to ensure supply to Production and deliveries to the customer.
Identifying and implementing process optimization measures relating to empties for continuous improvements, in coordination with the Manager.
Analyzing deviations from the process in Container Management and initiating relevant measures or corrections.
Checking and comparing internal container accounts with customer and supplier documents/accounts.
Ensuring compliance with CU specifications governing the use of standardized packaging.
Physically checking the inventory in the warehouse at regular intervals and comparing the results with inventory quantities in SAP.
Checking the container posting transactions in SAP, including maintaining and checking relevant master data and SAP parameters.
Posting invoices (rental, transportation, cleaning), checking invoices, and managing and reconciling accounts.
Comparing customer portals with internal inventory tracking data for empties to create transparency and reduce additional container costs.
Performing other duties as assigned.
