This role involves supporting flow cytometry operations in a shared-resource or service-based lab environment. The scientist will be responsible for operating and maintaining flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters, including instrument setup, quality control, monitoring runs, and routine maintenance. The position also involves designing and optimizing multiparameter panels, providing user training and support, and ensuring compliance with BSL-2+ safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on flow cytometry experience, with a strong preference for experience supporting cell sorting, cytometer startup/shutdown, instrument monitoring, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting. This person should be comfortable working in a shared-resource or service-based lab environment where they are supporting scientists directly, resolving instrument issues, and helping users complete experiments successfully.
