Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related Science/Engineering field
  • Strong experimental, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-3 years of hands-on lab experience with a focus on safety, accuracy, and data integrity
  • Proactive, self-driven team player with strong ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Develops and conducts experimental designs and laboratory screening methods to measure desired performance metrics and for the creation of prototype products
  • Reviews data, provides preliminary interpretation and draws conclusions. Proposes next steps and strategies of development efforts. Reports progress/issues on a timely basis
  • Coordinates necessary tasks and discussions with R&D cross-functional teams to ensure the tasks executed in a timely manner
  • Works closely with business partners (i.e. marketing, supply chain, finance, purchasing) when appropriate
  • Prepares and delivers presentations, both written and oral, to various levels of management
