About The Position

We are actively seeking a Scientist to support a Federal Government client. The Scientist will support laboratory operations, technology assessment, test and evaluation, scientific testing, and laboratory process improvement. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline
  • Experience with laboratory operations, scientific testing, or research and development
  • Ability to summarize scientific findings and communicate them orally and in writing
  • Familiarity with common laboratory equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems engineering and technology assessment
  • Federal experience
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Experience with inventory management

Responsibilities

  • Laboratory Support, to include equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Testing and implementing new technologies
  • Collect, review, and analyze data
  • Develop templates, SOPs, and other documentation
  • Improve laboratory processes
  • Work with diverse teams including data scientists, engineers, and analysts to review data and contribute to reports, dashboards, and other deliverables
