About The Position
Support assay development activities through laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and documentation in a regulated R&D environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on molecular biology experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of DNA/RNA-based techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 0–5 years of laboratory experience in assay development, molecular biology, or related research environments.
- Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with statistical software such as JMP preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, data integrity practices, and regulated environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols, safety guidelines, and data integrity standards.
- Perform DNA/RNA isolation and molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, and preferably digital PCR.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical tools such as JMP and document results in electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN).
- Prepare technical reports, protocols, and supporting documentation for design history files.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and contribute to project timelines and objectives.
- Present findings to supervisors and project teams as needed.
- Support routine laboratory operations, inventory management, safety compliance, and quality system requirements.
